I got one of these (from a different site) for about this price this spring. It's a short scale and small bodied guitar with a relatively narrow nut so bare that in mind. I don't have huge hands and it can feel a little cramped even for me. I enjoy it and it's nice in comparison to my other acoustic which has a huge body. I strongly recommend checking one out at your local shop though as it's small

I just played my brother's last night and it is fun to play but the setup and action on his are high so it wasn't very enjoyable after a short while haha. If i were to get one I would definitely lower the action a good amount. It would also be cool to install a K&K or Schatten pickup in it too.

common issue: difficult to play, strings are so tight and hard to press on.

Pretty sure this can be resolved with a proper setup and also possibly changing the strings out for a lighter gauge

I'm using the 13s that came with mine and I have low action. There's a couple frets that are a little high I think so I get some buzz but yeah I think there's gonna be variation with setup.

Haha wow… 13s!? And it sounds like fret leveling might be in order

It's acoustic and it's 23.5 inch scale I believe. 13s are what they come with and recommend. I haven't tried 12s on it yet. And yeah. Some feet work would be nice but the local luthier no longer is around and I don't trust guitar center to work on my guitars

Most short scale guitars come with heavier strings to get a balanced tension for standard tuning.

I have owned a GS mini for a couple of years. These little guitars sound very good for their size and price. The only thing I didn't like is the narrow nut (good for strumming but not so much finger style). I replaced mine with a Martin 000jr-10 (very similar to the GS mini, except all solid and 1.75" nut width).
