Probably like all the rest in this price point , just stop working, it will charge but won't turn on anymore is the common issue with all these cheap guns

yes, i think they should really start just design with with self replaceable batteries. like with those 18650s which can be easily purchased

Their reviews are not very promising, a lot of them say not working or they break right away after a little bit of use.

Costco sells one instore from Sharper Image at $80(hot + cold option)... and another one without the hot/cold for $50... Decent brand and Costco's return policy helps for trying such things

The Sharper Image one is mediocre at best.

The problem with every single one of these with this form factor and size is that you simply can't squeeze a big enough motor in there to generate enough force.

The deception is that the motors can achieve a pretty high RPM, which translates great when you're watching a video review. How much force it's applying, not so much.

If you look at the ones with a straight handle that has a rubber covering which stops about an inch from the end, those are typically using removable batteries shared by no-name power tools.

Unfortunately, some of them don't come with a release button, so you need to insert a really thin shim to release the locking mechanism.

But a better DIY solution is to get a jigsaw and a massage adapter kit. Tons more power and the batteries are easy to get.
