This has been at this price since end of November now. There was the additional 10% off coupon earlier in the month that worked with this. I've been using it for the past 2-3 weeks and love it overall.

edit: if anyone gets this, I highly recommend the Anker Soundcore official travel case. It fits the charger and a smaller cable perfectly and protects the nice screen on it.
This is NOT a deal. Its posted by "Posted by ItsSoCheap | Staff • 5h ago" which appears to be staff person for posting "deals" which are not not such. Lower price for possible discontinued product since its on Woot.
I'm genuinely asking here because I don't know…. As others have said this has been the price on Woot for like a month…. How does this deal suddenly show up as a Frontpage "deal" when it's literally been the price for weeks?

Again, pardon my ignorance, I'm genuinely wondering what constitutes a Frontpage deal out of nowhere like this?

Same. I jumped on the deal which included the charger dock, and it's been a smooth experience over the past several weeks (we'll see in a year though LMAO). The "wireless" charging feature looks well designed, but still charges pretty fast if plugged in as well

Why they don't just tell how much Wh of the battery? It will be much easier to tell how long the battery will last.😂😂

Because then you'll realize it can only sustain the full discharge for like 40 minutes.

There are cheaper banks with same amount of Whr but less output, so if you don't need 170W you can save $40

PSA.... Just one thing to remember as we're in the holidays, And a lot of people are flying and want to take portable power with them. A lot of people overlook this, FAA regulations limit any batteries to the maximum of 100w hours or 27000mah. So there is a possibility they could confiscate this from you at the airport. So just be cautious if you're expecting to take this on a flight.

Why does Anker only go 140w Max on all their stuff? Are there even any devices that need 140w only? Why not just go all the way to the 240w Max or at least to 180w so those of us with laptops that need it can use it?

Good luck getting this on a plane on carry on, and no way allowed in checked bags. But if you have a need for a giant battery for non-flight needs.... sure?

I just bought a cheaper 27000 mAh (99 wh) model on Amazon for $30, which is practically the same dimension as this. It's definitely not like a can of soda. I was able to take it on the plane without any questioning. I can't speak for quality yet but it feels solid.

You're going to have to go to proprietary charing connecters then. AFAIK, the highest USB C charging rate is 140 watts. Also, with a small battery such as this, at 140 watts, the conversion loss rate is also pretty high.

My understanding is this unit is exactly 100 Wh. Hence that's only a concern if the TSA doesn't understand their own rules.

27000 mAh in this unit would be 99 Wh. A lot of devices opted for that to go 1 Wh under the limit, but I think Anker is in the clear here to go to 100 Wh.

Why on sale? Are they getting ready to release an updated model?
