I just bought from Amazon and was able to renew my subscription, no problems. They emailed the activation code seperately just after the order was placed.

Amazon has a 1-year subscription for the Quicken Classic products on sale. The title says New Subscriptions only, but both the Q&A on Amazon, myself, and other Slickdealers can confirm this works for renewals.[/url]
I'm not seeing any Q&A on the listing for this item.

I can't help but wonder if it doesn't renew my subscription, I have no recourse.

This product is non-returnable and non-refundable.

In the product description it does say that you can try it risk-free for 30 days. Not sure which policy supercedes.

I was successful too, but it seems a dicey proposition.

I bought it but my sub doesn't renew until November so I need to wait to renew until May. (Many reminders in my calendar now.) (Odd date as I guess I renewed 11/8/24... guess you can renew 6 months in advance.) BTW, this was for Quicken Classic Business & Personal.

YMMV, but FYI it renewed my Quicken Deluxe subscription that was expiring 12/31/2024.

I entered the code, my name & address (I guess it's to confirm you're in USA). The next screen offered to start setup, but I cancelled at that point. Then the message at the top of Quicken that was warning of my imminent expiration flashed something like "you're good until 1/1/2025" and disappeared.

Do people enjoy using this, or is it mostly a holdover from before other solutions becoming available? I'm looking to start using something myself and not sure what method to use. Not really a fan of the envelope method that a lot of offerings seem to focus on.

I bought the Newegg deal earlier, but thankfully, I was able to cancel and get this instead. My subscription expired a few days ago, this worked to renew for another year. Thanks!

Perfect timing as my subscription expires today. I decided to move from Premier to Deluxe. I hope that doesn't cause any issues.

Now I just need a deal on TurboTax (which have been right after Christmas the past few years). It looks like the deal was around Black Friday this year. Hopefully there is another opportunity. I also finally decided to move from TurboTax Premier to Deluxe.

Did you mean 1/1/2026?

This Amazon purchased worked successfully as a renewal for my Quicken Classic Deluxe subscription, too. After putting my Amazon product code in, Quicken asked for details about me. I left the drop down selected to "I've never used Quicken before" (or something like that) and it extended my subscription from April 2025 to April 2026…and I got to cash in my $15 in "no rush shipping" digital rewards! Win win!
