I'm fresh out of the shower after being shot in the face by this machine with poop so I'm just pasting the story that I sent to my friend. This machine is HORRIBLE. I dk if I got a lemon but somehow the waste is connected to the fan in the back of the machine and basically shot poop water all over me and my daughters room. " You won't believe what just happened to me. So last night Jeremy and I were talking about how our dog never had accidents in the house and then we wake up and he's pooped on waverlys rug. Like diarrhea so we definitely jinxed ourselves. So it was so much I cleaned up what I could but had to use a carpet shampooer for the rest to get it out. And I just got a new handheld one. So I'm cleaning it up, am sucking all this poopy water into the machine and it starts malfunctioning and all the sudden poop water is shooting out the back of it all over her rug. Like a water jet but of poop. But it shocked me so much that I turned it over to see what was going on and it starts shooting poop water all over me too like sprayed me right in the face. So I'm panicking now as poop water is shooting me in the face and I can't find the off switch so it just took every longer. Then I finally got it and ran with it to the bathroom as poop water dripped all over me and the bathroom . It was somehow getting into the exhaust fan and the fan was literally shooting it all over the place .
Man, when I'm having a bad day it's always good to remind myself that at least I didn't have poop water shot in my face

I wonder if this would work better than the 18v Ryobi wet dry vac cause the Ryobi was a waste of money and wouldn't suction out liquid from carpets. Being that this is cordless but 7.2v, might be useful for the car when we don't have an outlet available.

Edit: https://www.target.com/p/bissell-...71#Reviews
According to target reviews, this thing can't really suction up liquids. Would probably save a ton of money and time just using a small regular wet dry vac.

I bought one. Refurbished looked good as new. Suction power is probably good enough for minor stains at the right angle. I find the suction area too small to be completely effective, but that has a lot to do with low suction power from a handheld battery device.

Pretty sure it didn't work while plugged in, so it requires charging separate from use.

You take the brush off after scrubbing for effective suction. Emptying is easy as well.

Good for minor, localized surface-level stains. Plan to make a lot of passes on larger stains. A larger and powered machine is better for serious work.

Very easy to clean, comes apart effortlessly. Suction power isn't good enough for cleaning a couch but it easily removes pee stains from pets on the rug after a minute or two of cleaning.

I've had a similar machine from Bissel, not this exact model.
It was too small and weak to use properly.

Either get a full-sized machine or rent one when you need.
This small one takes forever to clean with it and to clean the machine afterwards.

(note how small the vacuum area is. Wet vacuum needs to stay in place for sometime to suck up all the liquids. Imagine doing that with the tiny suction)

Bought one two days ago for $89, tried it out on a week old throw rug that the dog threw up on. It doesn't use water, just soap. It left a soap stain we couldn't get out. Returned it yesterday
