During that repair the Sears guy commented that he does a lot of fisher and paykel double drawer dishwasher and it looked exactly the same taking it apart.
On usage we pretty much fill and run the top drawer daily, but it's nice to put either pots (running the pots program) or plastic bins or anything you might want cooler water with (using the china program) separate from the main drawer. I would recommend it, but if cautious there's always plenty of extended warranties to choose from online.
That said, according to reviews, this is garbage.

Café is definitely not an unknown brand. It's the luxury line of GE.

You should know what you're talking about before commenting. Cafe is not an unknown brand, 😂. If that's the case, GE is an unknown brand.

There are photos on the Lowe's posting of someone throwing a pod in there.
Edit: read the manual and there are 2 different slots to put detergent pods in.

We tend to go through a lot of cups and small bowls. It would actually be nice to run those more often, while bigger items (plates, pots) could wait a few more days to fill the second section. You could also run different cycles on each section to protect more delicate items, like plastics that can warp if they get too hot.

Another comment mentioned it's powder solution only, and that's false. There's also a spot in the silverware caddy for tablets, which is all I use.
For 2-3 people this is a huge upgrade imho, since you can run it every 1-2 days instead of having to fill the whole dishwasher once a week and having it funk up the place.
Highly recommended.
