This is pretty much normal price for these. As usual Amazon knows they could put $50 on a box of pencils and say "normally $200! Half off! Limited time, hurry!" and people would buy into it.

I've never in the past years seen this brand or model over $40 a set. They may work great but don't feel you need to rush to buy these.

Don't believe me? Just use a popular search engine to the most popular auction site. (I don't mention the names because I don't want to give the mods an excuse to delete this comment.)

Does anybody have experience with these compared to the Howard Leight Impact Sport earmuffs?

The padding on the walkers is more comfortable in my opinion

I use these when trail riding on a side by side and they work great, can even play music when I have reception on the trails.

You gotta download some trail music. I hit northern Maine quite a bit and it is a must have for me. No cell reception up there. That and download maps.

Good deal. Can get this price 2-3 per year. These are good cans for the range. Very solid. Own about 4-5 pairs of these and some 3m Pelators.

All do the job well.

How are earmuffs like these for constant loud shop noise/machinery? Can they be worn and still converse in conditions like that? Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure these have stereo sound. My Walkers do not.

I was JUST about to ask this!

I've used the Howard Leights for years for this reason - they are awesome for hunting whitetail. I did replace the ear pads with cheap gel pads from Amzn (like 2 for $20) and love them even more.

For years Walkers only fed mono sound. While description on these says 2 mics they don't specify if its stereo or not (aka directional).

These things are wild. They are basically spy devices. We were at the range and I could hear people over in the next berm like they were 2 feet away from me.
