We do fried salmon patties. 2 cans salmon, drain juice, pick out the skin and bones. Add 2-3 eggs, bread crumbs or crushed crackers. Add seasonings - salt pepper parsley onion or chives old bay msg etc. Form into 1 inch thick patties and fry in butter and oil. Can be eaten plain or on burgers. Very yummy!
We make salmon patties (with egg, panko, and Old Bay...sometimes adding shredded zucchini) on the griddle. Serve it with sriracha mayo, fried okra, and cast iron cornbread.
I buy the small cans from Costco, but I make salmon dip.
Cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, seasoning (Trader Joe's Salmon rub), fresh dill.

Yep. Red Salmon is tastier. Picked up a 5-pak for $21. Considering this size of can with Sockeye Salmon runs $9+ here, even $4.19 each is a bargain. Bumble Bee isn't the greatest - something about their canning process makes things mushy - but the other brands that don't cause the mushiness in the can are still over $9/can each.

Not a fan of the skin, but we love the soft bones in the cans! Tasty.

Canned salmon can be used anywhere you'd use canned tuna - or pouched tuna. Salmon doesn't store anywhere near as much mercury as tuna does.

Meals?
Salmon over fried egg noddles.
Salmon and rice with cream of mushroom soup.
Salmon flakes for tacos - like any other fish taco, just never with tartar sauce.
Salmon sandwiches - like tuna sandwiches.
Salmon melt, like a tuna melt

We also use Atlantic Salmon fillets (sockeye fillets are TOO expensive) for lots of dishes that would previously be made with Sockeye steaks.
4oz Salmon steaks can be nuked for 2:20 on high seasoned with citrus juice, paprika, and pepper - perfect every time.
Or baked/broils/grilled for just a few minutes - served with broiled Brussels sprouts and a little wild rice on the side.
Yummy. If you've never had properly made Brussels sprouts, please try some. They are amazing. An entire generation was trained to hate Brussels sprouts by their parents because their grandparents didn't know how to prepare them correctly. Same for acorn squash - better than ice cream when prepared correctly, which is crazy simple, BTW.

So many meals are possible with salmon.

Much of the Atlantic Salmon is farmed - often from Chile or Norway salt water farms. These farmed fish may be fed dyes to improve the flesh color purely for appeal. FWIW.
