Note: The Adios Pro 3 was worn by Kenyan runner Amos Kipruto when he won the London Marathon 2022; by Evans Chebet, the winner of the New York Marathon 2022; by Benson Kipruto, the winner of the Chicago Marathon 2022; and by Peres Jepchirchir, who won the Boston Marathon 2022.

Are these supposed to be better than the ultraboost 5X?
Completely different shoes that you can't even compare them in terms of which one is better. The Adios Pro 3 have been some of the best shoes out there for marathon, half marathon and even shorter distance racing. They're horrible for walking or even slow jogging.
The Ultraboosts are comfylifestyle shoes that could be used for running, but there are much better things out there.

I'd buy the Ultraboost 5X over the AP3 or PX2 any day. AP3 has absolute garbage upper. PX2 is complete garbage. These current "deal" prices are fair market value imo.

The 5X is a capable running shoe, unlike literally every other Ultraboost shoe, but otherwise I endorse your entire post.
