I bought over $100 of chocolate at Target @ 75% off last week. Half of them was Lindt.

I miss the day that Target did 90% chocolate.

Lindt is garbage, doesn't even taste like real chocolate...but if you happen to like it, I suppose this is a good deal. I never understood how they swindled people into believing this is a high-end candy

At a lower price point, Ghirardelli is a much better (and without terrible additives) option. Trader Joes sells a great Belgian chocolate bar for a great price, as well.

There are lots of reports online about Lindt using cheap, low-quality cacao beans, and their chocolate recently tested HIGH in lead. Not kidding!

I disagree lindt truffles aren't superior, they absolutely are. Particularly dark chocolate truffles or white chocolate mint. Incredible. But as a fan, load up after holidays or other fast sales. Keep eyes open, they come around often enough .
This price here, unfortunately, no deal at all.

Ghirardelli is actually owned by Lindt (& Sprüngli). lol!

Yes, they are owned by them but that doesn't make the chocolate the same...do some research before commenting. And FYI: Lindt's chocolate contains 116% of the recommended cadmium limit and 48% of the lead limit, hence a class action lawsuit was filed against Lindt. That is not the case with Ghirardelli chocolate.
