I'm going to disagree on the order of removal and installation. Always remove the negative terminal first and reinstall it last. This eliminates the possibility of shorting a tool between the positive terminal and frame ground while removing/installing it.

What's the turnaround time on shipping, OP? Did they ship out fairly quickly once you placed the order?
I ordered mine from Weize on a Friday and it arrived the following Monday via Fedex, so pretty quick in my case. I was pleased with the shipping time as my old battery was about to give up the ghost.

AGM batteries are way better than your typical lead acid sealed batteries. I have one from 2012 in my boat and it's still going strong.
I've had similar good luck with AGMs in automotive, motorcycle, and lawn equipment applications. They're my preferred battery type for the last several years, and prices are coming down slowly with global competition in place. I'm still hesitant to adopt LiFePO4 in these applications; their additional complexity and propensity for combustion don't sit well with me.
There's currently a pretty sweet deal on a U1 lawn/garden AGM for $37 shipped on Ebay. I bought one a while back and it's doing a good job on my Gravely zero turn mower (24HP Kawasaki FR730V).

Keep in mind the battery is a critical car component. The price is low enough to take the risk of early failure but have a backup plan (keep a lithium jump starter in the trunk, it's useful to have anyways) and don't expect warranty service (if any at all) to get you another battery before you buckle and pick one up locally.
The benefit of purchasing locally is just driving in to get the battery tested and swapped if defective within the 3 year warranty. On that note, don't go to Costco for batteries, they suck ever since they started the pro-rated refund.
Edit: Not dumping on the deal, I bought the H6. No core charge for recycling means I can keep the existing one which is mostly functional as a backup (remote start was failing which is a high cutoff). I figured my scenario is low risk.

Agreed on the warranty. It's a roll of the dice, but a risk I thought was worth taking for the savings involved. With AGM life typically at 4-6 years and breakeven at ~2 years on the smaller sizes it's worth considering, especially if you install your own battery. I thought these were worth posting as some of the best prices currently available on AGMs. These Weizes are rated for use in Start/Stop applications (automatic engine shutdown at red lights that some newer cars and trucks have).

Rural King has an H6/48 AGM with an 84 month warranty for $169.99 and I can be there in 30 minutes to get it swapped out upon any potential failure. Consider these disposable, unless you can wait for days without a battery.

Wow that 84 month warranty is unheard of virtually anywhere else. There are no Rural Kings in my neck of the woods but that price versus warranty is great. I'm guessing that it's pro-rated and not free replacement?

Guessing pro-rated from day 1, so about $2 per month remaining
count me in, my battery in my Tacoma is 4 years old.
Much rather have an AGM this time around.

Hey didn't you do the HP desktop builds a few months back?
Yeah 4 years on a flooded battery is a long life in my experience. You might want to check out blogs on your Tacoma's charge system putting out high enough voltage for AGM use. Seems I remember Taco owners having problems with the upgrade due to low charge system float voltage

If their warehouse is near LA, I would not expect prompt order fulfillment for the foreseeable future.
I ordered a Group 48/H6 in November, I paid $121.24.
I'm on the East Coast, and they shipped out of Atlanta if I remember correctly.
Not only that, but I received the battery in 2 days, one day faster than they predicted when I ordered it. By the way, the shipping box was one of the best I've seen for a battery.

Their FLA batteries are made by Exide, so I assume these are, too.
