EF, so no. But you can purchase an adapter for it. But it's long and heavier.
After it sells a lot, like tamron 28-75, it could have much lowered price.
The normal price seems to be inflated. It also seems like this lens might be getting discontinued.
A few things:
24-35 isn't much of a zoom range. You might feel surprised at it honestly.
Aperture of F2 is a plus compared to other 'kit' zoom lenses that are 3 or 4.5 f stop. This allows for more light to reach the camera and gives more separation between' the subject and the background. (Shallow depth of field).
This lens will be a bit heavy with the metal build.
The aperture is as good as it gets for a full frame zoom lens. F/2 is a whole stop better than f/2.8. The 28-70mm f/2 made for the new canon RF mount is where it's at but that is in the range of $2,500. The only apprehension you should have on aperature is if you compare to a prime 24mm or 35mm lens which will likely have an aperature of f/1.4 (one stop better than f/2).
The range, though, is unusually narrow. The difference between 24mm and 35mm to the eye isn't a very big one.
The price is FANTASTIC! I buy all my lenses second hand as I can generally get some great saving on well taken care of equipment. I bought my Sigma Art 24-70 f/2.8 for $800-900 used and that was the best deal out at the time (about a year or so ago). A used Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 will be in the neighborhood of $350-400. Heck, this exact lens is currently over $500 used on MPB (which is a site I frequent for buying used camera equipment. Buying new for a pro grade lens at $400 and have 4 years parts and labor that you don't have to worry about is a no brainer imo. If you bought used and the aperture got stuck, it would probably cost $400 on the repair. Great find OP!

typical zoom lens for full frame are variable aperture, then F4, and high end used to be f2.8. F2 is kinda nuts.
24mm + 28mm + 35mm all F/2 (great for low light). The zoom makes it very versatile for landscape + portrait.
