I purchased this camera for my wife for Christmas. Tried to hook it up with our internet it won't connect due to our internet is 5G. It needs to specify it won't work with 5G internet instead of misleading you on thinking it will work on your internet.

5GHz is a frequency on your home wireless router, and has no connection to 5G, which is a cellphone internet protocol.
I own LaView cameras and none of them support 5GHz.
Have to use them on a 2.4Ghz wifi.
I've had great luck with my LaView Cameras - I plan to use this next to a bird feeder!

Given what I know now I'd probably be looking for a different manufacturer for a fully local solution that would be more likely to continue to release app and security firmware updates.
The answer here to both questions is "no", but clarifying that the 5G/IPv4 internet problem affects the majority of camera brands. Ask me how I know...
