This goes for both digital and disk ownership. You will need to insert the disk to play if you own the disk edition.

You have to really be invested in the story to be motivated to get through the whole thing as it's a multi-hour massive open world game akin to Assassin's Creed. Some people have put hundreds of hours into it but I guess if you speed through it you can do it a bit over 20 hours.

Any benefits to getting the remastered version if you've played and beat the game + DLC on PS4? One of the few PS4-5 games I got 100% achievement, besides the two rebooted God of War series.

Nothing, really. Unless you own a PS5 Pro. The game is enhanced for the Pro and looks absolutely stunning and load times are almost non existent.

Absolutely worth playing. I bought it when it first came out for the PS4 in 2018? I dropped the game after a few hours because I was a little overwhelmed by the gameplay mechanics. There were just too many items to memorize to use during encounters. (Ropecasters, slings, bows).

I picked this up (and Forbidden West) during BF for the Pro and gave it another go and was blown away. Once you familiarize yourself with all the weapons and understand the machine's weakness, the game opens up and it becomes a lot more fun. On top of the amazing story telling this game is one of the best PS exclusive for a reason. You won't be disappointed.

Can't wait for part 3.

Yes it is. I just got a PS5 for Xmas and had this game from years before but never played it. Same as some else just said it was too much at the time. I'm playing it now it and it is fantastic, admittedly I was too cheap for the 10 upgrade for the remastered, now I'm kinda too far to get it and I regret it because it woulda made it that much better. So yea even the base game that I'm playing now is fantastic so the remastered must look amazing. Do it.

Who is giving this a thumbs down? Came here to say this myself. Replayed this when it launched since I have the ps4 disc version still. Game holds up, is gorgeous, and fun to play.

I bought the $10 upgrade for the PS4 version a while back and it looks incredible on the PS5. Digital Foundry has a great video showing all the upgrades that were made in the remaster and totally sold me on getting it.

The only thing worth on this remaster is the remade conversations, they are now actually animated instead of the ol bioware looking at blank faces

I honestly think the game looks worse in some places, overtly saturated

I would wait on a sale for the $10 upgrade and just get it cheap used

Damn, I feel like upgrading to a pro just for this game lol. I've already played it but yeah, what's the main difference between pro and regular PS5 on this game?
