This game benefited from the prior game however personally the ending was poorly done

No, it isn't. It's on PS+ Extra, which costs you money (quite a bit, at that). Not to mention that most people only have PS+ Essential (which also costs you money). The game will also be removed at some point.
Dumb comment. No game has played from the disc since the PS4 era. That's irrelevant, though. Disc is almost always cheaper than digital, and you actually own it, and you're not locked out of playing it if the network or your internet goes down. Plus you can let friends borrow it, or resell it. Physical is king.

Exactly. I try telling people that. You never own digital games, just the license and if something happens you are sol.
Yep. The only time I buy digital is if I just can't find physical anymore, or the digital version is cheaper (which is rarely the case). You don't own digital. It says it in every digital marketplace's terms and conditions. Games/movies/shows can be, and have been, removed without notice or compensation.
Geez.
Every time a mainstreamed NAME Xbox PS game deal get posted there always a comment that goes "FYI available on PS+ or game pass"
Like what even the point of sharing a deal if game pass or PS+ supersede all of those deals?
The "Oh majority has subscription here" remark is BS. Game ownership vs rental are incomparable for goodness sake

Are you talking about my remark? I can't quite tell if your comment is aimed at me, or if you're supporting my comment. It kind of feels like you should have posted this as a reply to the other person. I certainly didn't mean the majority of people have PS+. I meant the majority who have PS+, only have Essential. So, the other person's comment wasn't accurate by just saying that this is on PS+, since it's only on Extra and Premium. Not to mention PS+ isn't cheap, so I'm sick of people saying the games are free. Everything I said was in defense of this deal. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding.

No not you. I'm on your side. Apology if I wasn't transparent to you.
But yes the "said subscription has it" for "free" is stupidly redundant. That's why I like deal like this. I don't want to pay monthly service if I don't want to. I rather pay only once to "rent" or own license.
@otherswhoshillGP/PS+ , Game pass or PS+ is not slick deal!
It is also not true that this release is cheaper, since the bundle with the previous Jedi game is the same price. Of course, the other poster is correct that you can resell the disc, I did not think of that use case, as there are easier ways to "rent" this game.
If you don't care about game preservation, or actually owning the game on disc, then feel free to subsidize EA. But many people do. This is still a substandard release and companies should not get away with putting a download code on a physical release disc.
