"Anyone that actually knows networking will tell you that article is a joke. TP-Link makes up more market share than all its competitors combined so yes they are going to have the MOST attempted attacks. What these articles only mention in passing the same vulnerabilities affect all the other major brands Asus /Netgear/Linksys/Synology its just their market share is so much smaller the impact is not felt as hard.
As for the ban I will believe it when I see it, they been talking about it for 3 years now, and its all just been blah blah blah its coming next year, next year, next year..... Also the ban is not because of vulnerabilities its because of supposed unfair price competitiveness. Boo Hoo whoever is in the pocket of manufactures cant sell their routers for $200 cause TP-Link is selling theirs for $100 and still making a profit so they are trying to make a stink..."
