"the R7 260 is an 8845HS / 7840HS in disguise..." [notebookcheck.net]

AMD playing their naming bs again... and here I got excited for a new cpu that I'd never heard of... 🤦 ♂️

Nothing new to see here. Carry on.

Both AMD and Intel need to simplify their CPU naming. This is getting ridiculous having to spend 30 mins understanding where a CPU falls.

I tried to reduce the pain by mentioning that it is a Zen 4 and Hawk Point in the spec section.

So many streamers I watch have been doing videos on this PC this week. Minisforum must be throwing stacks and stacks of money around. It was funny watching a retro gamer try to sell me on this by running the Sims though.

Not on this one but the AI X1 Pro (Posted in SD as well). That PC is actually a very nice and interesting one.

I have been looking to upgrade from the 7735HS which after about 30 minutes of playing any game starts to get hot and performance lags. I am guessing this wouldn't be that big of an upgrade?
