Even if it's the older model that's not as bright as the newer one. The old one is bright enough to make this your go to light.

I don't think I have a need of a third, but this is a GREAT work light. If you're already in the dewalt ecosystem you cant go wrong with this.

Be way cheaper to buy a proper work light that doesn't require you to buy an expensive battery. Don't FOMO on this if you don't already have dewalt batteries.
I actually use it with one of the cheap battery adapters you can get on amazon or ali. All my tools are Ryobi and Dewalt, so I have the adapters to go either direction, and it works fine on the Ryobi batteries. Just is extra bulky, but that's fine when just having it stationary. It's impractical to use handheld though with a Ryobi battery + adapter.
