10A@120V is 1200Watts. Do you plan on using this for your microwave?

Pulling more than 10a on this will trip the breaker in it. That would make sense if it was only a USB charger but having 3 plugs on it makes this sound like a headache.

Next to the bed, a reading light I barely ever use and a digital alarm clock pulls how much? So basically just my phone overnight. No ones saying you should use this for your Home entertainment setup..

Bought one of these a few months ago to create a more accessible outlet on the work desk, plus eliminate the need to plug a USB charger in constantly for a shared outlet. Happy with it; might order another. The only downside so far is that it doesn't tend to stay upright and in place so you might want to stick it down with double sided tape or velcro.

718 Amazon reviews, mostly positive. The main complaints are that the device tends to fall off your desk (no rubber feet or weight), the USB ports are underpowered so no fast charging your phone, the electric outlets can go dead after a few months. I'd hesitate to plug in a 100W laptop charger into this thing along with much else but if you just need an extra outlet strip in a small 5' form factor it isn't bad for the price.

actually only 138 reviews. ppl need to learn how to navigate Amazon reviews better. it's very deceptive.

Amperage is a measure of current (how fast it moves through the pipe), and doesn't say much of anything without the context of voltage.

Multiply the voltage and the amperage together to get a comparable number—watts.

Remember:
Voltage (size of pipe) X Amperage (speed of flow) = wattage (total volume)

Most household plugs are 15a @ 120v = 1,800w max draw for the circuit breaker

This is the usual price on Woot for this cube. I've bought a couple for the kids, no complaints. Useful for just the slow USBs and the occasional fast USB charger or light plugged into the outlet. Don't expect to run power tools off this 🤣
