Rokus have one of the better smart tv OSes.
This is an absolute bargain for a 65-in OLED, but this TV has virtually zero reviews.
Nope, another member confirmed that you can still turn it off

$100 lower than the 3/12 sale now. May have to do it since I have the CC and get 5% CB at sams in store.

Someone in the other thread said motion interpolation (soap opera effect) cant be turned off in some roku tvs, which would be a deal breaker but may be worth the hassle to find out for sure.

Why not just pair it with an Onn 4k pro or Apple TV 4K?

Even high end TVs embedded smart functionality is lacking…

I mean I would but... Waiting on the test dummies to post their reviews about this specific 974 model.

I think he was talking about this TV enabling the soap opera effect automatically and you can't disable it. That would be the deal breaker for me

Probably, but some updates haven't been improvements or removed features. Recent update broke or removed my instant on live OTA.

Dang, so it looks like Funai is no longer selling rebadged Philips TVs here in the US. TP Vision is a lot better. They're still part of the original Philips TV division that made decent TVs. They only sold commercial Philips TVs in the US and were selling consumer Phillips TVs in the Europe. Better quality than the rebadged Funai TVs. We might be seeing another actual competitor in the TV marketplace.
