Correct me if this is wrong. Found this online. The monthly fee is $6/month if you want to use the LTE but while the LTE module provides convenient smartphone control, it's not mandatory for the basic functionality of your Compustar remote start or security system.

I can't find the info on the monthly or annual charges associated with using the LTE module service on the product page.

Edit:
I searched the web, and I think this is the right one:

Yep, I found the site and updated the post.
I am on the fence, as I already have a compustar without LTE installed I got on another SD.
You can get as low as $2.99 per month if you prepay for 5 years.
It's just sketchy that BB does not advise these costs up front on the product page.

You're correct. The module is installed but it is not required. I have one in my car and have never used drone mobile. Never paid an extra penny to CompuStar other than buying the unit and getting it installed at Best Buy 5 years ago.

Great deal! LTE plus two remotes. Don't think I've seen an lte sub 250. I'm in for one. My oem charges $15 a month and won't let you separate remote start only. I'll have the option to use lte or free range normal remote start. I made an appointment for the upcoming spring break

Stupid question probably but how difficult/costly would it be to reinstall on a new vehicle from another one?

Aside from lte, how's this compare to the 4905s that's often for sale a few times a year?

Do you need to tell the techs not to activate the lte if you just want regular remote start and not lte? Just don't use the app? Or something else?

This is the only review on BB, does not seem correct, or is this the case "Installation included just means they will still charge for installation. I bought this believing that it was actually "included" without being charged extra, but it's $130 for the installation as well. Kind of misleading when "installation included" is in the description of the original part with the original price."

It says installation included in the title…. But you have to pay for the "wires" according to an answer on their website. Weird

Looks like a good deal. I believe you just not have them set up the lte and use the reg remotes if you don't want to pay the extra fee.

It's all free at checkout. It added installation and a wire harness Showing installation at $140-140 and wire harness $39-39. Total with tax and everything was about $260 here in ny.

At checkout my installation and wire harness were free. It showed the price for the 2 but also showed the price being discounted to 0.
