Similar to this deal posted earlier except this bundle also comes with RAM. Should also be eligible for the 4 free games mentioned in linked post since it's an Intel CPU and the ASUS board is eligible for ASUS's promo.

The standard hold is only 3 days and the website specifically says they have no way to extend it, let alone extending their 3 days to like 3 weeks

Just saying, they did let me return something past the 30 day window by an extra 30 days once lol. But the manager's choice in the end I suppose.

Does their latest cpu have the same issues like the Intel 13th and 14th gen cpu or is it too early to tell?

Actually, what actually is this? I haven't been following cpus for a long while...

They don't seem to have the issues, no. This is the mid-upper range processor (think i7) of the latest intel gen. Productivity performance generally matches or beats 14700k with much less power draw and no stability problems.

Gaming performance is largely stagnant since the 12700k, so you'd be better off with either a cheaper 12700k bundle or an AMD processor for that.

This motherboard is high quality and will do anything you need it to without complaints. The RAM is meh, CL36 is disappointing these days but it's clearly overstock ram to flesh out the bundle.

This is roughly the equivalent of a Ryzen 9900X (12C/24T) or 13900K/14900K (24C/32T) for day to day tasks. Intel is getting rid of SMT/Hyperthreading and this 265K (20C/20T) is a mix of 8 P cores and 12 E cores. That's a reasonable mix for heavy workloads with quite a bit of background tasks. The problem is this series has been a flop when it comes to gaming performance. And this CPU is way overkill for your typical "office PC." There's nothing really wrong with that, but the 265K just doesn't shine anywhere. If you retire old Windows PC into Linux servers once their time has come, this would be an excellent option due to power efficiency. But the same can be said for a 9700X, 9900X, or really any other current AMD CPU.
