Anyone who does Z-wave probably already knows that Zooz is some of the best stuff out there with fantastic customer service. I've been replacing all my older stuff with Zooz and getting more with every excuse that I have. No free shipping isn't a deal breaker as they charge reasonable shipping rates. I still have half a dozen devices from their last sale that I need to install before I allow myself to buy more.

I switched all of my pir sensors to Zooz since they can be hard wired. I hope they start releasing other hard wired sensors soon.

Prices doesn't match the advertisement. For example, power switch is supposed to be $18 off but is only $11 off. Not sure what's going on there. I'll wait until they correct the prices.

I have had multiple zen24 and zen23 switches fail. They just quit. Won't work via zwave or by the toggle. Only way to fix them is power cycle them. Never had this problem with Enbrighten switches.

If I remember well, mentioned models were exchanged to new ones 6 years ago or so. Enbrighten brand is 5 years old or even less
'Fixing' with power cycling is a bit weird , if both manual and z-wave don't work.. As z-wave installer, never seen such issue . Possible there is hub problem involved. Try to perform factory reset at least one of those which fail, do not pair again with hub and then make sure such behaving happen again. If stop working , that would mean there is something wrong with the switch, If not, your z-wave network / hub may create that issues. Do you have them installed in metal boxes, BTW ?

The ad compares the sale price to the current price on Amazon ($43.95), the list price on the website must have been a typo, we reported that already so it should be updated shortly.

Yes they are in metal boxes. They are about 10 feet from my Home Assistant PC/controller. I had one I had to reset about once a week with power cycle. I finally replaced it. Then just last week another one started doing the same thing. So I guess I will replace it. Zooz had no advice except to factory reset it. Same advice you always get when there is a problem with a cell phone. Just factory reset it. Lol

Why don't you place a device needing wireless communication inside a metal box. People always making the same mistake. Lol . Ever heard of a faraday cage?

Can't speak of ZEN23/24, but I have the opposite experience. Few GE/Jasco/Enbrighten switches (NOT dimmers) died over the past 8 years and were replaced with Zooz ZEN76, which have been rock solid since then.

The only thing I miss in them is the solid "click" Smilie

Was really hoping we'd see the ZEN71 at $20 again. Maybe later this year?

I've got Zooz gear in my own home as well as dozens of customer sites and all have been rock solid.

Do you ever use the wireless 3-way function? I'm finding too much of the delay for my liking for on off and dimming. It varies from half a second to a full second. And when dimming, I will let go of the dimmer paddle and the lights will get brighter than where I had it at the bottom of the dim. But on the main switch, dimming is much more responsive.
This wasn't a problem on my old switches because they did not use wireless three-way. I went All in on it at my new place, and it does have its advantages like being able to put a switch somewhere with just power, but the disadvantages are quite annoying.
I am using home assistant and the newest zooz Zwave stick with the newest firmwares on everything.

I don't generally use any of the dimmers. I pretty much always install Hue bulbs along with them and in the controller tie various commands to certain brightness levels / scenes.

I've experienced some small delays in commands working their way through the system but nothing that feels like an issue. I imagine trying to use traditional dimmer functions and having the setting overrun beyond your desired state would be quite frustrating, though. Assuming you're using standard dimmable bulbs maybe instead of the secondary unit running as a variable dimmer you can have a few macros at the secondary spot for set brightness levels?

Wanted this to control a bathroom exhaust fan, but it looks like they only suggest using on 150w led or 600w incandescents.

the prices keep increasing every couple of months. i dont mind the shipping minimum but I was hoping for a better sale.
my biggest issue with them is that their dimmers dont have any light indicator or sliders to distinguish them from none dimmers
