This right here. Yesterday you could also get the 77G4 from the partner store with a soundbar and stand included for $2,027 + tax. Technically that included a pricing error where it was discounting the price of the soundbar and stand from the TV, instead of giving them for free, but even without the glitch it was $2,430 + tax for the TV, soundbar and stand.

Not sure if the G5 is worth $1,400 to $1,800 more than the G4. Not to mention you'd get a free soundbar with the G4 as well as the savings.

I was wondering about this, do you think it'll drop lower than this considering it's already 449 off + 10% with this code? Really close to snag the 77"

Drop lower when? Of course it will get cheaper than this in the near future, we just can't be sure exactly. But I wouldn't be surprised if cheaper deals are possible no later than July.

When you see a code is working on LG/LG Partner store then just use it at the moment and buy the stuff you want. Discount codes either do not work with OLED TVs at all or work for a few days (as if a controlled bug). Since 4 is the old series now the codes will work, discounts/promotions will be highest for them to clear the stock for 5 series.

I have a 77G4 and G5 looks/reviewed as noticeably brighter with better colours. G4 is really good and it is like a reference TV of the last year. 4 Stack OLED is successful but honestly I personally would pay such a difference for a PHOLED so not now..
