I have a similar product (a lithium ion battery that can be used to jump start a car) and it has been a life saver on many occasions. I've had very poor luck with actual jump starting from car to car, but have used a device like this at least 6 times with zero failures. I think mine cost $100. So, this looks to be a very slick deal at $35.

How long does the charge on these thing last if you don't plug them in?

I saw a stack of these at my local 'pile of returned amazon crap' that they sell literally everything for $5 each on tuesdays was tempted but they look/feel kind of flimsy. I have the nexpow and its very sturdy in comparison.

Here in Ohio they, in a stroke of marketing genius, named it "where ya bin" and its literally just a giant old Big Lots full of blue bins piled high with crap.

I'm just curious? Are these bins inside of a Big Lots store? Are these actual Amazon items, or is that an assumption on your part? Regardless, wouldn't it be worth taking a risk for $5.00?
I have a suspicion that these things likely come from the same factory anyway. "Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent".😄

They are high capacity power banks. The same thing you'd get to take on a trip to be able to top-up your phone battery; just thicker and heavier. Mine even has USB ports to charge devices. I've left it in a cabinet for a year and then was able to jump a car. It was showing 80% capacity left and is rated for several jumps when fully charged. Now I do have concerns about its health if left in a hot car and try to keep it out of the car during the summer months.

I'd be more concerned about it being exposed to excessively cold temps vs. warm temps. These batteries lose capacity much faster in cold temps (below freezing and beyond).

$100 is excessive for one of these.

They are popping up everywhere like spirit Halloweens, assuming he meant it took over an old big lots store, all of them near me are different owners. The stores buy amazon return pallets, take the best stuff out and then put whatever's left on the floor in rolling bins, first day everything is $7 the next $5 etc. until everything in stock is gone. Sometimes you will get lucky and get some cool stuff, I got a zojirushi thermos for $5, a dog cover for the backseat for $2, a yeti dog bowl for $5 but most of it is garbage especially on lower price days. A lot of bottom feeders ruin it though by making shopping here to resell their full time job and running people over to get to the new carts they wheel out lol.

If you want to venture to these places, go on the first or second day or else you'll just be weeding through no-name brand car parts for random makes and models, literal garbage and pieces that fell out of boxes that are incomplete

It's a former big lots store, sorry for not being more specific. The new store name is literally 'Where Ya Bin'. Yes they are amazon items, you can see many with the Amazon ASIN or LPN sticker still on them, or even the return label from the customer back to the amazon DC. I do suspect they have started also taking items from some domestic Temu facility, though, because there have recently been items that i cant find via any amazon record and they were of such lo quality that i couldn't even find an actual match on amazon.com, but could on the temu app.

That's definitely indication of paid reviews and ppl return them after the fact. Thanks for the tips on flimsy quality

Make sure you check the critical reviews. Those 1-star reviews look scary.

I trust critical reviews more than 5-star/4-star reviews. Chinese brands are known for paid reviews and the critical reviews would have more truth in them since no one is paying for those.
