The curved screen resolves the viewing angle, generally the IPS monitor advantage over VA panels. However, VA panels have better contrast and more natural picture for watching live content like shows, movies, etc.

On top of that, there are no IPS curved screens that are worthy of buying for gaming/productivity purposes given the few models in existence pricing.

My advice is, test one out and then conclude if it works for your needs or not

I may end up getting this for work, I've got a 27 inch curved Samsung monitor presently that I bought refurbished about 2-3 years ago for about $150 via Woot and this seems like the next best upgrade.

Curious if anyone has a link to test if my computer could display on this in… normal Resolution? I'm not tech savvy and one monitor I got from Costco I had to return due to its inability to fill the entire screen. Not sure if the specs of the last monitor and my dell xps 14" is 2-3 years old. No dedicated video card. Please don't roast me lol

Good for everyone who might prefer a new model with a great price from a company with brick and mortar locations all over the US.

Hmm.. there shouldn't be any issue for your 2-3 year old laptop "filling" the entire monitor screen. Even the screen were huuuuuge, your laptop would 'fill' it at the whatever resolution it is able, which could lead to lots of pixelation.

If you are talking about parts of your monitor screen was just empty black, it probably was a resolution settings issue which can be adjusted on your laptop. Next time maybe google how to set resolutions or even better ask chatgpt about your situation

VA Panel is a trigger word for some people.

What worries me is that 250 nits of brightness.
