The Final Fantasy 7 remakes are not straight remasters of FF7. Their plan is to split the original FF7 into a trilogy. FF7 Remake (first released on PS4) was the first part. It takes the original FF7's roughly 5 hour beginning part and expands it into a full game, roughly 30-40 hours for the main story. This version, FF7 Remake Integrade, is an updated version for PS5 that includes some additional story elements. Basically a slightly lengthened remaster of a significantly lengthened full on remake. FF7 Rebirth is the second part and extends the middle portion of the original FF7 into to almost 50 hours. The third part is not out yet.
Clear as mud, I know.

I believe the remake is going to be split in three parts. This is the first part. The third part isn't out yet.
