Awesome tool, tons of power, but very unwieldy. Also needs two wrenches to secure bits, which is a pain in the rear

I imagine people generally use this for metal work, but it's also very good for power wood carving. I've had good results using it for that application with kutzall carbide burrs.

Shame they don't make the smaller form factor handheld ones yet... love the little Milwaukee and Bosch units, but want a native dewalt battery tool.

Even wallyworld has a cheap small die grinder now...

The milwaukee's and the Hercules are also both two wrenchers. The hyper tough (lol) right angle die grinder has a great stop lock button.
Two wrenchers don't matter to me as much cause I'm just gonna stick a rubber 2in backer on it and swap out pads.
