I have a different one, but look the same. It works so so. It cuts out in certain places, I guess there is interference. In other instances the music cuts off, for that I just connect back to the phone and back to CarPlay, but it might be my phone. There is also a little lag between phone and stereo on videos and audios. Still looking for a better replacement, but this will do for now.
Quite a few 1-star reviews. A lot of the positive reviews strike me as being paid for.
This product is the only one sold under this company name.
If you Google the company and look at their website, the copyright is from 2021, the phone number they give goes to a voicemail box that isn't set up, and the address is for a company that just registers LLCs in New York for other companies.
Clicking around the website it's obvious that it's just a generic template that has generic text placeholders that don't really make sense for a company who just makes this one product.
The strike through price is disingenuous as you can see other colors with lower list prices.
It's only $20, but nothing about the company or it's product suggest you'll be getting much more than a frustrating experience that will ultimately lead to you throwing this thing out in the near future and spending more money to find something that actually works.
After connecion, the phone's Wi-fi wll be occupied by the wireless CarPlay program. Dropped connections are usually caused by Wi-fi interference. You may need to ignore other Wi-Fi networks when using the adapter."
