No longer the same recipe. They lost their chili supplier in a law suit that they lost. Google it.

They didn't just lose their chili supplier, they tried to screw their chili supplier over and rightfully got what they deserved.

Tabasco brand siracha is my current favorite. It has a nice garlic flavor that others lack. Also has just enough heat to not overwhelm the flavor. Low sugar too.

I like the Lee Kum Kee version. It doesn't give me a bitter aftertaste.

Underwood Ranches is the farm that used to supply Huy Fong until Huy Fong tried to screw them over. They have their own Sriracha sauce now and after tweaking it a few times they've settled on their recipe and started wider distribution.

It is amazing and way better than present day Huy Fong. I say this as someone who used to absolutely love Huy Fong.

Unfortunately taste is subjective. As someone else stated, the original chile supplier "Underwood farms" does make their own now, and that's what I currently use. I've also tried others that were fine, so it's tough to recommend since they are all similar.

I got The Tabasco brand when I ran out and couldn't find anything else. I agree, right now it's my favorite as well.
I got it from Walmart for a decent price.
