Pretty slow at CL36/6000 so it is not a hynix a-side die. It will get the job done, but this is fairly bottom tier performance.

Looking on their website, there is only one 2x16GB DDR6000 kit under the Trident Z5 Neo line:

https://www.gskill.com/products/1...5-AMD-EXPO (all products)

https://www.gskill.com/product/16...6GX2-TZ5NR (the kit in question)

This claims it's actually CL30.

I don't think this is the proper kit. The proper model is most likely this one: https://www.gskill.com/product/16...6GX2-TZ5NR which is indeed, CL36. Here is the equivalent product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-Tr...B0BR1GG2GS

I'm inclined to believe you're correct, because everyone's better off assuming the worse kit if there's a question. But it's odd that G.Skill's website makes it so difficult to find individual kits. I navigated for DDR6000 16x2 and I could not find anything but what I posted. If I search individually on Google, the kits come up. Very weird.

Kinda strange that a current pc build standard item is even being clearances/sold on woot. It's not like this is DDR4 3200/18.

Is it used?

Condition states new. I don't think RAM has been severely affected by the tariffs yet (though other components of a PC likely have like GPU, though that is more NVIDIA's desire to scalp their consumers). This clearance is probably just a result of very low demand. Not many people building PCs in this kind of economy. I am still on 5950X (DDR4) and 3090 FE from several generations ago. Not to mention, people looking at buying higher end RAM like trident neos are probably overclocking and not too fond of a CL36 kit so this is just collecting dust on their shelves.

What's the performance penalty between CL 30 vs 36 @6000?

In games about 1% in 720p ultra low, benchmarks, <1% in 1920 high settings and above.

The ASIN # listed in page source for this product is ‎B0BR1GG2GS which points to: https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-Tr...B0BR1GG2GS
So CL36 confirmed it seems.

On PCpartpicker, there are Z5 Neo RGB kits which came in 5600MHz CL28 and CL30

Ram always goes thru influx of going down then spiking as production stops ddr3 had a spike due to it . These rams are slow so they will be phased out by faster sticks and with he same size .

GPU prices have been effected by supply and demand. Nothing to do with tariffs. GPU market has been destroyed by scalpers for last 2 or 3 years. Some partners are actually trying to stop it like bestbuy that is doing instore pickup only after account verification. Was actually able to grab a 9070xt at launch price yesterday. Cool
