Buy $35+ Girl Scout Cookies with Venmo, get $5 cashback
This deal is ymmv and maybe targeted. I got a venmo app notification, but I can't yet confirm it works.
The notification (attached to this post from my notification history) stated:
It's Girl Scout Cookie season
We're supporting girl entrepreneurs with cashback. Pay with venmo for your cookie order of $35+, get $5 back. Ends 3/31/25. Terms apply.
When I clicked the notification, it brought me to a Girl Scout cookie website I've posted here. I later click the notification again, and it brought me to my venmo app. I'm not sure where to find the terms of the deal. I tried venmoing my relative that sells Girl Scout cookies that we bought from, but we haven't seen $5 come through yet. I'm guessing they have to be bought from the website using venmo as payment.

I got word back from Venmo customer service. They confirmed that Venmo has a Marketing Campaign for Girl Scout Cookies Spring 2025.Here are the Terms and Conditions:
Offer Period: Starts March 20, 2025, at 12:00:00 a.m., and ends on March 31, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.
How it Works: An Eligible Participant must successfully complete an eligible purchase of at least $35 USD or more using Venmo on girlscoutcookies.org during the Offer Period.
Once an eligible purchase has been successfully completed and verified by Venmo, $5 cash back will be sent to the Eligible Participant's Valid Account ("Reward"). The reward should be added to the Eligible Participant's Valid Account within fourteen (14) days after the purchase is completed, but may be available sooner. There are only 30,000 Rewards available during the Offer Period; Rewards will no longer be available once the limit is reached. There is a limit of one (1) Reward or a maximum of $5 USD, per Valid Account.

Yeah... I saw that... but I wouldn't be surprised if other packaged shelf stable cookies would test similarly. At least these are delicious.
What 3 cookie types were safe?
The url had legitimizing terms like "campaign=MY25Cookie-Venmo" in it, and the icon that came up for this slick deal post talks about it, but I don't see the icon on the site it routes us to. weird...
I'm hoping someone can figure it out or find these "terms", and share them here. I'm not having any luck.
