This jar style is much better this versus the tube style I own. You have to squeeze extra hard to get the product out the tube.

Just got this. Good deal. The only and best product to treat dry skin. You'll never go back to anything else.

This is just petroleum jelly.
No, it is not. It contains petroleum jelly but has several other ingredients (mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, panthenol, glycerin, and bisabolol) which make it superior to Vaseline for mosturizing and healing very dry skin.

For those who have a skin allergy to wool like me, lanolin is oil from wool (an ingredient in this product). so if you're trying to heal severely cracked lips that for some reason becomes itchy and you don't understand why Aquaphor isn't helping, it's because it was causing it. #spreading awareness

This is a great cream. I use this for my toddler and infant from rashes, bruises to visible allergies. It works great and it's of good quality. I recommend it if you have kids.

It's just marketing and packaging that is different with the baby version. Same exact product and ingredients.

This stuff is absolutely the best for dry/cracked skin AND lips. It is definitely better than just Vaseline / white petrolatum; among the other ingredients is lanonin which is another skin protectant. It is also less "greasy" after application.
That said, I hate the jar. It is much more reasonably priced than the tubes, but will get filled with hair and dirt long before you finish it. If you just use this on your skin maybe you won't care, but I also use it on my lips. Either way I think it's worth a few bucks more to have the more sanitary squeeze tubes.
