Kind of confused about this one. MSRP is actually $199, but the normal price supposedly is $27 but various 3rd party sites say this is normally $70+ to $120 and this dropped minutes ago so no clue if this is a fire deal but seems like it is

They are probably offloading inventory - EPOS as a company has been shedding their divisions (killed off their gaming division) and is in the process of shutting down.

For what it's worth, found a critical review stating:

"This mic's MSRP was originally ~$200 USD, and as of this writing it's about 85% off, so it's a bargain in that regard, but you need to work around the awful software to make it work well, and you can get an Audio-Technica ATR2100 Dynamic mic that sounds just as good out of the box with 1/20th the effort of setup for the same price...the B20 becomes a tough sell."

Not really true…but anyways.

Do not buy this mic, unless you're a professional, and in that case you probably have something else that's better. The EPOS Gaming Suite software is basically abandonware, and you need much more complicated 3rd party software (voicemeeter, etc) to make this mic worthwhile, which is beyond most people's tolerance. This mic is VERY sensitive, and that makes it difficult to manage in most home office setups. It is solidly built, sounds great under proper conditions, but is quite limited.

As for EPOS, they've gone back to their "corp" style products for call centers and office professionals. That said, their gaming headsets are fantastic and can also be had on clearance, and basically are the next generation of Sennheiser gaming products, as EPOS was the brand behind their gaming headsets for years.
