$1000 cash back less:
- $95 annual fee
- $50-100 opportunity cost for spending $5000 on a card that only gives 1%cb when you could have gotten 2-3%cb.
Still over $800 tax-free profit. Not bad at all.
Considering it. I have one more application before I hit chase 5/24, then wait for a boosted amex gold or platinum bonus.
Any 0% apr period on this?
Will they treat a tax payment at pay1040 as a cash advance? Most credit card vendors treat it as a purchase.
The offer is supposed to be available online starting 04/03.
Nope- you can only have 1 sapphire (of any type) open at once, and can't get a sapphire bonus at all if you received one in the last 48 months.
Current referral links are still only offering 60k--- rumors on reddit that 100k referrals for individuals will be live next week (8th was what I read)

my partner and I share points under the same household.
i've got chase freedom, flex, and unlimited - no sapphire products.
my partner has the sapphire reserve
what are my options here? thinking of "upgrading" freedom to get points, and then downgrading back to freedom later to keep the points and skip the $95 fee but not sure if this is the best way to go about it
On chase website it says 60k points, where do we see 100k. As I am going to call Customer support since I opened recently. Want to know the source if I am going to call
TIA
Not only is it in OP's message, it's also in the subject. Good grief.

Thanks a lot… Do we need to go to branch to match it? Yes I opened it after 3/13 only
2% on Travel
1% otherwise
Plus other benefits, like primary rental car insurance.
What's the cash equivalent of this 100k points?
Will this card give you lounge access?
Is this card worth keeping after it's been churned.
