$1000 cash back less:
- $95 annual fee
- $50-100 opportunity cost for spending $5000 on a card that only gives 1%cb when you could have gotten 2-3%cb.
Still over $800 tax-free profit. Not bad at all.
Considering it. I have one more application before I hit chase 5/24, then wait for a boosted amex gold or platinum bonus.
Any 0% apr period on this?
Will they treat a tax payment at pay1040 as a cash advance? Most credit card vendors treat it as a purchase.

The offer is supposed to be available online starting 04/03.
Nope- you can only have 1 sapphire (of any type) open at once, and can't get a sapphire bonus at all if you received one in the last 48 months.
Current referral links are still only offering 60k--- rumors on reddit that 100k referrals for individuals will be live next week (8th was what I read)

How did it come in? blank envelope or was it a chase envelope? I'm about a week in as well.
I been using it on Apple Pay for now, but need it before tax doomsday to pay lol
Is there any way to find out when my wife got her last sign up bonus? I think it was May 2021, but not sure of the exact date, which matters here. And what happens if she applies and does not qualify for the sign up bonus yet?
Is the doordash credit after the purchase or is it a credit during the purchase? asking as I saw the option to apply $10 in the app earlier but not showing up now.
Edit: appears to apply on non-restaurant orders if I'm not mistaken and only a liquor store in my area qualifies for this. Not even one 7-11 even though there are plenty around here.

Thanks. The only store that's consistently on is this liquor store near me and it's asking me to upload a DL even though nothing in my order contains alcohol.
I dont know why you got declined, but I think chase is required to tell you.
Each product line is distinct from the others (as far as the qualifying time period..... Southwest is different from United, which is different from Sapphire, which is different from others). You would not be automatically declined for Sapphire because you have a Bonvoy.
I have had Southwest & United & Sapphire simultaneously in years past.
If you had the card bonus for sapphire in the last 48 months, you would be declined.
Those are the only two things I know.
I see no reason why you couldn't apply for United (unless you are outside the 5/24--see below) So I would want to know that first.
Call the reconsideration line and ask.
Called the line the other day and they just needed to verify a bunch of info and call me back on the number I gave. It ended up getting approved that day, unfortunately after I already paid my property taxes and insurance. Gonna need to find some other things to meet the 5k spend, maybe Costco cash cards.

You could wait for the next no-fee Visa or Master Card gift card offer from Staples. Those you can use anywhere.

Message them how? My wife has no chase accounts thus no portal to message from.
How long did it take for you guys to see the bonus tracker on your accounts?

You can also add it now to PayPal and pay taxes via PayPal.
Adding it to PayPal does not work as the new card is not showing up somehow. Whereas Google pay is fine. Apple pay and Samsung pay should work too.
Does anybody know why and any solution?

I don't know if it applies, but if you are outside of Chase's 5/24 rule, [thepointsguy.com] you would certainly be declined.
