Well, according to this test, which is a few years old but I suspect is still relevant, the Amazon basics were pretty good and appear to be the best value. I would take project farm scientific analysis over your anecdotal evidence.

The color. They're for racing.

The little dude on Project Farm seems to try hard, but he doesn't appear to be very scientific, it's like he makes up these odd tasks for his comparisons, but they aren't done the way scientists do things.
