I would argue strongly against this (as a kit, not necessarily the tool and/or battery)... If you need the tool and/or battery, get them in the BOGO deal vs this kit. It gives you the option to hack for either individually, easier returns/warranty if there's ever an issue, better local stock, and more options for different tools with the DCB206 battery as well.

Thx for the hack deal. Will grab the tool and battery, and return the battery.

Basically you go to the link. Add the free battery. Mine shows the tool is now $104.xx and the battery is the rest of the $199. Return the battery, keep the tool for $104.xx

Would they ask questions if I'm only returning the battery? What do I tell them?😁

Just tell them you decided you didn't need the battery if returning...
You can also order pickup from 2 different stores, sometimes you'll get an option to cancel a portion of it vs the entire order but if not you can just never pickup unwanted item or call to cancel after picking up the item you want

Picked up both items at curbside then went it to return the battery, no questions asked. Thanks!!

Agreed, I would further argue that the 6 ah battery is an odd choice to pair with this tool in a kit. I find 18/20v ratchets unwieldy as it is, adding that big battery to the end results in an off balance tool. These ratchets are where you want those low ah batteries that people complain about when they're part of a kit. I'd say the same of all the long horizontal tools, though admittedly the small batteries wear out super fast on a die grinder or oscillating tool.

See my other comment for reasoning, but M12 if you already have the batteries.

I don't see your comment regarding the M12 fuel ratchet in this thread. Could you link the thread with your comments
