I think this model has only been out for a year. I'm guessing the previous commenters had a different model of babyliss. This specific one only has a 2-year warranty vs their usual 4-year warranty for their more expensive models, so this is probably a lower quality model.

Bought this for my wife maybe 10 years ago and still works perfectly after daily use. Dries her hair twice as fast as a cheap blow dryer. After the first time my mom used it she ran out and bought one as well. She's had it about 5 years no problems.

Got a used one from a friend a few years ago after they had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong. Much better quality than the cheap conair ones I used to get on sale that would stop working after a year or 2.

Yes, I think I saw one awhile back like $69.99 or $89.99 (regular price).

Wait do hair dryers not have the lifetime warranty? Guess I should have looked into that before buying the Dyson about a year ago thinking I could return if it broke.

Yep, these were $69.99 at my local Costco recently. Costco started selling these in September 2024.

They were only cheaper if your warehouse had them for .00 but they are long gone by now. I picked one up for 30.00 a few months ago

Luckily mine has graduated out of baby stage but I suppose I'll have to put a plan in place to temporarily replace these if I have another one.

I just bought a used one 2 days ago, and this is way more powerful than others from Costco (excluding the $500 Dyson). I never use any of the accessories. Able to remove the cover to clean the filter is a nice design touch. The hanging loop reclaim much countertop space.
