Man, this looks like a great all-around option for commuting. 10lbs lighter than the G2, self healing tubeless tires, and decent suspension…

For those wanted to get an extra 5% you can get a referral code from a friend or create a Segway Mileage Club and put in your own email for the code or you search segway referral code generator for one as well.

Has anyone had to deal with damaged product or otherwise returned a new scooter to Segway? Trying to see if it is worth the risk / hassle buying direct from them to save $20-$30 vs the simplicity of Amazon returns (if needed).

I read on Reddit their customer service is a hassle.

I tired using the 5% friend referral code stacked with the $20 off welcome code and it didn't allow me to stack the discounts if this helps anyone with their decision to but it. Ended up just using the 5% off which came out to $30 off. $569 total

Are these comparable from the durability perspective to Lime ones that Uber (?) uses for public transportation? I want to buy an electric scooter for kiddos but I'm pretty sure they will abuse the hell out of it…

This is a lot of scooter for $599. No brainer if in the market right now and want the most bang for your buck.

Tempted this or the XP lite 2.0 lectric bike (800$). It would definitely be an upgrade from my hiboy S2. I live in Portland even though we have great transportation options these days they're always late buses/max canceled or something's going on. Just need to go 2 miles to work

For 2 miles, i'd go with the scooter. It's much more portable and range won't be a problem. The Lectric bike will get you farther and probably be a little more comfortable if you'd rather sit down.

Pretty solid stats. 20mph scooter with dual suspension for $600 by the premium company. Excited to see prices coming down and eventually can get a really solid scooter for under $500.

Will you be able to store the scooter or bike indoors at work? You can look for a much cheaper bike if it's only 2 miles.

I had a segway ninebot and it died so fast. Barely 30 miles on it.
After that, I would never buy another Segway scooter ever. the Xaiomi Mi scooter is superior quality

I had a bad experience with segway. And multiple good experiences with xaomi
