Love the look of these but returned a set to Costco after the finish started coming off after 9 months of only using plastic/silicone utensils
Skip the below if you don't want a rant...you've been warned...

---------------------

Trust me...they're quite shady and nebulous and purposefully obtuse when it comes to denying returns. I've been a member for 30 years, and they denied a return of my ev charger (enelx went out of business so I lost the Iot functionality) on the basis that I've returned six items in the same category (electronics) in the past two years.

Mind you, they were all brand new gifts that were rejected by the recipients. Totally unopened (Sound bars mainly). I don't think one return every four months is earth shattering...

Without getting into the weeds, you can bypass the 'manager discretion' that Costco pulls at the warehouse by buying at the Costco website. They will take anything back there forever, period. Verified by a rep who was a former warehouse returns person.

Don't bring this up on reddit...the Costco justice warriors will accuse you of questioning their patron saint of retail shopping. You'll be downvoted to oblivion.

----------------------

Now onto the product. Ninja support isn't bad...if not just a bit inconsistent. They don't need a physical receipt, but they will sometimes ask for the original defective product back after asking you to examine it using your phone camera over a video chat. I ended up exchanging one frying pan, and then eventually the whole set of foodi premiums.

Their 'lifetime' has changed definitions arbitrarily...but it went from 5 years to ten years a few years back.

The next nonstick pan that I've used are the OXOs from Costco. It's a two pack consisting of two different sizes. I'm not sure if they're the same as the ones from ATK, but I've used them for just under three years now, and I'd say that they retained like 70% of their nonstick. They are used for eggs daily everyday since I bought them. So well over 1100 uses.

Wonder if this is the never stick premium or essentials line, appears to be essentials. Doesn't specify, but I just bought a 12in premium for $50.

how are these as compared to my regular go to Tramotinas? those go for about $20 a piece usually.

if you use super high heat frequently that will damage the coating as well

Very bad reviews - people tell that they starting to peel soon and that "10 year warranty" is just a marketing gimmick

Invest in circulon a1 pans. We've had ours for a few years and have yet to scratch them. They are built like tanks.

Same experience except Costco wouldn't take mine back. Ninja wouldn't warranty them either. Had the finish chip off on one and a rivet pop off another.

How would costco not take them back? They're not supposed to have a choice. FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.

I bought a set to replace some other pans showing their age. It doesn't matter the brand, all will deteriorate after extensive use, especially if you are hard on them (dishwasher, stacking with other pans, high heat, etc). If they last three years, thats not bad for a $50 set.

never seen costco reject a return but this is still good to know, maybe they are getting a bit stricter.

They took my juicebox back, no questions. I felt like shit returning it though.

My nearest Costco (Fort O., GA) is the worst one I've ever been to. They treat you like a criminal at the door, checkout, and customer service. The other ones in Atlanta and Nashville are far better. But no matter how bad they get, they're never worse than the local SAMs club. A new BJs is supposed to open in the next year, so hopefully that is better.

You're one of the lucky ones, haha. I went to the two warehouses near me and they just wouldn't have it. Luckily, I bought both (I had two) online, and costco.com took them back, no questions asked. They refunded me the moment that the tracking numbers got scanned in.
