Trying to find a model number to see if these might be one of the earlier Series 9 that have the working pulse oximeter.

Anyone have better luck?

Getting a stainless steel one for $240 is actually a pretty good deal, refurbs are going for twice that on Backmarket. Otherwise, consider that if the battery is low it's $100 for a replacement from Apple; may as well wait until the 10 series is on sale again.

First time I've been able to afford a stainless steel one. It'll replace a rapidly aging series 4. Thanks OP!

Replaced my 4 with a 7 SS last year. It's nicer and the screen/body are a lot harder to scuff/scratch/dent. One day I'll activate the cellular side. Definitely worth the upgrade, since the 4 battery life got to be less than a day.

Has anyone ever used the woot 1 yr warranty for similar apple watches earlier? Its been at least for past 6 months the same namely contacting an anita @ kisselectronicsnyc . com. You can see that on Woots site. From what i see this is a store in Harlem, NY. Does not seem to be a warranty from Woot or parent Amazon. Curious if anyone has had experiences dealing with them. For a previous cheaper watch i did check with Apple and they clearly said (no surprise as it was also refurbished) that it was not covered by them and the serial ID did not match their records. Thanks

I jumped on this about a year ago. Watch failed after swimming in pool so they must not have gotten the seals installed correctly. However, I got lucky and the previous owner left Apple Care on the device. Woot offered a return or partial refund. I used the Apple Care warranty and accepted Woot's partial refund. Ended up with a genuine Apple refurb in the end with some extra effort.

Depends what you do/where you go. It's nice to go to the pool or the beach and not have to worry about leaving your phone unguarded.

I paid that much for a new series 8 in Oct 2023 from amazon.
When series 9 was a month old.
So not really a super slick deal. But worth it for anyone needing a watch now.
