Is the extra $50 worth it with 3x OC compared to the regular 5070 for $549? Or is it just more aggressive software overclock under nvidia app?

$600 down the toilet, the 5070 in any iteration with 12gb of RAM should be a hard pass.

Looks like 5080 in stock too.

[edit] Actually, now that I look around, the 5070 is in stock EVERYWHERE. NewEgg, Walmart, BestBuy. It's almost like they got terrible reviews or something. God, I hope scalpers are sitting on thousands of these.

This card will have a slightly better cooler than the base model. It will have a slight overclock as well. For $50 over stock I'd say it's not bad. Have MSI and Asus cards and they're rock solid.

Are these as good as a 4080? Or it's just like a 4070 ?

4080 is much better. It averages around 15% faster in games depending on which version it is.

Don't worry, because of the 10% extra tax some of us will pay starting today, the entire industries of the entire planet, including GPU factories for all brands, will move their manufacturing in the US of A and things will be so much cheaper like never seen cheap before.

The funny thing is we used to make a lot of things. Majority of the PCs were made in good old USA until they got greedy with the cheap Chinese labor.
