Love these. Been through 3 pair in the last 3 years working in foodservice, always great! I wish they had these in the Grey color. Those are becoming hard to find.

I have these. They're not my preferred choice of shoes, but I wear them when I know I have a service order coming up at a food service establishment. They work great walking across the cooking areas where it's usually slippery. Better traction than the slip, electric, composite toe shoe I normally wear, but they are actually more comfortable than these. The insoles seem to wear down faster than other Sketchers that I own, but using the Dr Scholls insoles that's been on here numerous times before (gel), has fixed that problem. I only wear them once, maybe twice a week, but besides the insole, the rest of the shoe has held up great for 3+ years now.

the mesh upper is pretty permeable I'm guessing? I like these restaurant shoes for gardening but usually look for something where my foot isnt going to get soaked

Been using Walmart boots on construction sites and they last 3+ years with superfeet insoles. They're extremely comfortable and pretty water resistant. Not sure if it'll be great for gardening since you'd need to bend down often.

I've had many of these too through the years. I wish they had the grey also. They hold up pretty good. Its usually the part behind the heel that wears out the quickest for me. I usually put inserts in them though. They aren't as comfortable as the go walk or similar ones without inserts.

These do offer some level of water resistance, but where they shine is the non-slip lowers. A must in food service.

Can we use these for regular "go-anywhere" shoes?

I've had these shoes a few times and for a slip resistant shoe these are a great price. Shoes for crews and sr max usually have them for around $50-$60. They're comfortable and if I didn't get just a pair of new balance slip resistant I would be getting this deal.

I work in the service industry. I've been buying these once a year for the past 6 year. Excellent shoes. Literally damn near slip proof. I bought two pairs at this price

Good deal, thumbs up, but just not for me. I bought a pair of these Cessnock's last month, but could immediately tell they were a bit heavier than my old pair of Skechers, so I just returned them the next day. I wish the product pages for shoes would also include the total weight of the shoe. A lighter shoe would totally help me stay on my feet all day without my feet getting as sore.

I wanted the Bear experience so I worked in a kitchen and got laid off after 3 shifts.

Why don't Jordan's have anti slip? Save some knee injuries
