i have the same system. i really dont recommend it. the subwoofer always randomly disconnects and sometimes when you have the speakers disconnected and to the rear you can hear them cutting in and out with sound. bought brand new from bestbuy. oh and the updating is a pain you NEED to use google home

I had the 5.1 version of this, it was always crappy to hear connection drop out in the middle of a movie.

my parents have one, or similar. the overall sound is nice, but the satellites as they have been setup at there place dont really do much. they offer a little bit of sound for a surround effect when positioned well. If you can adjust their volume and can stomach putting them back to the bar to keep charged regularly then its not a bad system. Decent for a large room, if your trying to be minimal on visual speakers and cant or dont want built ins.

I have this , bought full price when it came out because of the detachable surround feature. It can be annoying sometimes, randomly has connection issues. The detachable speakers do sound good when they can make use of Atmos. Thing is I almost never really use them that way. Ended up moving and the room setup isn't conducive to setting them up. All that being said it works MOST of the time and the connection issues were solved pretty easily in my case. It does sound really good, especially the sub. I think for this price it is worth it as long as you go into it knowing you night have to trouble shoot to get the best experience. Id give them a 7.5 out of 10 but probably bumps to an 8.5 at this price, especially if you can add coupons or discounts.

I mean, technically it only has to have 9 channels + a subwoofer to be 9.1

Even if 7 of them are right next to eachother

I bought the JBL Bar 500 and love it. Bass is amazing. Looked at this one, but read too many reviews about charging issues with the rear speakers.
