Another note, is I think trade in values were reduced, at least for the S21.

I assume that was either a glitch or not unlocked.
Factory unlocked but the phone was tied to att line. Super easy to cancel after the fact. Took me a 10 min call.

Thanks for responding. Not worth the risk .. I burnt my hands with a similar promise for a new line with Vzn and they did a hard pull anyway (shows in my Experian report and there to stay for 3 years). Not saying that's the case always but I won't take a chance again. YMMV
Personally I paid around $200 out of pocket including cost of trade in.
