I was going to buy the Kobalt new model. The handle on Kobalt seems more ergonomic than this and cost $79 only. Anyone own both and could give me some feedback?

Of course the usage is the most important. For some, the additional appeal is not having multiple OEMs and batteries to manage.

What do you mean "this deal is hackable"? Does the $82.07 still include the battery or is that just the tool? How do you "hack" it?
I've owned two of these (other corded brands) and they are great to have but the drive gear broke on both of them! Just invested in the 20V Dewalt system last year so slowly adding to my tool inentory.

Feel like this sort of thing would shine for work for retro-ing windows/doors. Even using a 6.5" circular saw was very awkward cutting back siding to replace exterior window trim; borderline dangerous on some horizontal cuts. Lots of this stuff needing to be done on ladder, this sort of tool would definitely be better.

Dual 1.7Ah powerstack batteries. MSRP ~$160 and value around $100 usually. Great deal if you don't need another 6ah battery! Great find
