I spent a little extra for a New Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7. Got it for $200 after cashback on BB eBay store. It's a nice Motherboard but I kind of regret not sticking with Asus.

Took about two days to figure out all the settings in the bios to setup the Undervolt on the I7-14700k. But I have it all set now.
The board I received was a rev. 1 (there's a 1.1 and 1.2 now) crazy how long that old stock sticks around.

Intel is sadly obsolete. They chugged along the last 10 years to keep stock shareholders happy but ain't got no gas in it.

The last couple of generations lost Intel a lot of loyalists. All while AMD is fine tuning their development strategy and delivering top performance. Kinda reminds me of Boeing versus Airbus.
The next few years should be quite interesting in the processor space. Apple looks to be poised to go after the Windows PC market if they so choose, with a new motherboard socket type for a tweaked M series. I don't see them steering that way but you never know. Qualcomm could do the same, although more likely in the low power micro PC space. Intel's apparent weakness leaves a lot of market share up for grabs.
