Callaway Umbrella Cartel seems to be hijacking the thread and shitposting here.

Golf umbrellas are just oversized umbrellas. Frankly I'm not sure why golfers need extra large umbrellas. These make good umbrellas if you're trying to cover yourself and someone else who doesn't have a hand free but as an everyday umbrella for one person they're unnecessarily heavy and cumbersome. Holding one in one hand is surprisingly tiresome, especially in a breeze, and they're so big that you can't just toss it on the floor of your passenger seat.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the rating and that these are equally or mainly to protect against the sun.

Got this in store for $30. Planning to mainly use while walking in the summer months.

$7 off currently so if you got it recently get an adjustment

I'm guessing you're not a golfer. Golf push carts usually have a holder for umbrellas and you want enough coverage for you and your golf clubs.

got some hardcore golfers here. Other than club tournaments when they don't suspend the game, I'm pulling over taking shelter or get a raincheck. If its raining enough that I need an umbrella, I don't want to play. Nothing fun about clubs slipping and hitting shots through puddles or ball getting plugged.

And also, not everything has to be golf branded. I got so many plain umbrellas that I can just use it in rare occasion I end up playing in some light rain. IDK, may be its different in other parts of the country that it rains all the time and they have to adapt to play in rain/drizzle..

It rains almost daily in Florida.

Just bought for $30, do they price adjust online or have to go back to store?

Takes up a lot of space being a full size one, but I just got the $4.97 foam handled one from Home Depot recently, it blocks the water from falling on me. my comment is to say that umbrellas are lost easily, and this just seems like a lot of money for an umbrella. I'm sure this one is infinitely nicer, but It ultimately achieves the same purpose as a cheap one

You must be a teenager. Just don't lose it and cheap ones break easily.

Only complaint with this umbrella is that the handle is tapered. So depending on how your umbrella cup locks the umbrella in place, the umbrella will slowly slide upwards while your walking and your cart is shaking around. I had to stick some foam on the inside of my cup to stop the umbrella from doing this. Other than that, good umbrella and keeps the sun away from my electronics and clubs here in sunny SoCal.

Unless you get a 1 MPH wind gust, then it folds
The $5 Home Depot ones have held up for me with torrential Florida rains and 20+ MPH winds (gusts, sustained less than that). I've replaced a couple that got stepped on (kids...), but they've lasted me for years with regular use.

How to Request a Price Adjustment

Costco.com purchases: Select the Request a Price Adjustment button below and complete the form. Once approved, credits are typically issued within 5 to 10 business days to the original form of payment. Check if a promotional price was already deducted from your order

Costco warehouse purchases: If you purchased the item at a Costco warehouse location, please inquire at the Returns counter at the Costco location where you made the purchase.

I walk the course in Austin as do several people and we all use these to shield ourselves from the sun.
