Not sure if it is hackable, but Ryobi is a BOGO (Buy this, get another free thing) promotion. Not sure if it is hackable (but if it is, returning the second battery may allow for the mower to be $350)
This has two blades compared to traditional one blades

Yours is a 6ah, the one here is a free tool plus 8ah batt, or a second 6ah battery… a better deal for use.

Good enough deal for me to jump into the battery powered lawnmowers and see if it will do what I need done. I already have some Ryobi 40 volt batteries for other yard tools so I'm not getting into another battery infrastructure.

If it doesn't do what I need done Home Depot has a 90 day return policy. But I believe an 8 ah and a 6 ah battery should provide plenty of juice to do my yard.

Thanks OP. Mine will be delivered this Wednesday.

It's the lawnmower and extra battery for $500. Not 2 lawnmowers.

In 2022 I bought this baddie with 6ah and 4ah factory recon from DTO for $164.99... it's shocking to see $500 price tag

Yeah, I don't know if the dual blade one is much better but the 21" brushless one I have is kind of underpowered. Probably not worth it at this price.

Is it a 40v, and what is the year model?

I gave in and got rid of my old gas mower last year and bought one of these. I am extremely happy with it and I did not get the self propelled version - and at 79 it is light enough for me to handle with no issues. I love pressing the button and taking off! I have a small yard so I have never tested the battery length - I can mow 4-5 times and then I put it in the charger just because.

in the cart the two items (mower+battery and bonus item) show up with their own prices, so it should be hackable

I see.

I got to the final checkout stage and it's requiring both to be delivered in the same method so I chose delivery to my house. Do I return the battery at the store to get a $150 refund?
